Maintenance & support
Software stays secure and current only with care
Updates, security, backups and continuous development – with a service contract your software runs reliably instead of slowly ageing.
Over an application's lifecycle, the largest share of total cost goes to operation and maintenance. Without regular updates, security gaps and outages loom – with consequences for GDPR and, increasingly, NIS-2. A service contract makes these costs predictable and keeps your solution secure and performant in the long run.

Maintenance FAQ
Do I really need a service contract?+
Once an application is used in production, yes. Security gaps in dependencies appear constantly; without updates the software becomes a risk – especially with personal data.
What if I need more effort than the allowance?+
Additional effort is billed transparently by time spent. That keeps the flat rate fair and you only pay for what's actually needed.
Do you maintain software someone else built?+
In many cases yes – after a short review of the code and infrastructure I'll tell you honestly whether and how a takeover makes sense.
How long does a service contract run?+
A 12-month minimum term with a fair notice period is common. We agree the details individually.
